Fall 2012

 The Fall busy season has passed and we are very thankful to have many of our annual guest stay with us this year?  We will close for Thanksgiving and Christmas and to enjoying our family visits.  Spring will be upon us quickly and then we will  prepare for our 11th year in business.

What happened to Spring

Well I woke up to an inch of snow this morning, Spring is on hold for a day or so, then we will be ready to enjoy the beautiful dogwoods here at Hearthstone Lodge

Civil War Reenactment

We are looking forward to having our Civil War Buffs stay with us this May. The reenactment of the Battle of Resaca will be the third weekend in May. The Battle of Resaca was the first major battle of the Atlanta Campaign and the only single encounter during which all reserves of both armies were engaged. Spring news

Spring is here and the dogwoods are turning white, the weather has warmed up and the waterfalls are back to normal. Sugar creek is running at full speed as well. We had a beautiful wedding for Deb and John on Feb 17th, what a wonderful time. Hope to see you later in the Spring or Summer.

Christmas season at Hearthstone

Our fall season is coming to an end, the leaves have fallen, the weather is getting colder, and the apple season here in North Georgia is just about over.
This week we will be decorating for Christmas with our 13 Christmas trees, beautiful decorations throughout the lodge, and outdoor lighting.
We are looking forward to our annual Holiday guest returning and anxiously await the arrival of our new guest.
We have a few nights available in December so please call us or book on line to come and enjoy the holiday season at the Hearthstone Lodge.

November colors 2008

Here we are in the first week of November and the leaves are still on the trees with all the spectacular colors of red, orange, and yellow. We still have a few rooms available for the weekend o the 15th and 22nd. We will be closed for the Thanksgiving weekend, the kids and grandkids have booked all the rooms. We set up our Christmas decorations the first week of December with our outstanding display of Holiday cheer. Hope to see you for the Holiday season.
